Snake!

Jeremy and I had a fun day today. We drove to Robinson so we could go to IKEA. I have been on the hunt for inexpensive candle lanterns for the balcony and found a few different styles on the website so we went today to get them. We went to Cracker Barrel for Linner (Lunch / Dinner) and then Lowe's to get some hooks for the lanterns.

When we got home I started to get the lanterns ready to go outside with my citronella candles. I went outside to scope out where we should hang them and I saw it.....

Something very strange in the space between our apartment and Roseanne's......

Jeremy:
"Hon, why do you look terrified? Hon! What is wrong with you?!"

Me: "SNAKE! BIG ASS SNAKE!!!!!"







We saw that it was only the snake skin but it was really long. I decided to be brave and removed the snake skin from between the walls. I laid it out on the balcony and put a tomato stake beside it.



Jeremy thought we should measure it.
5.5 FEET LONG!



I started to freak out again because of how long it was (huge snake, huge snake close to our apartment, huge snake practically living in our apartment, huge snake hiding so that it can eat me, huge snake!) and Jeremy's brilliant response was, "Well, it is actually longer now because that is why they shed their skin."
WRONG ANSWER!
