I took this past Friday and Monday off work to do some holiday baking. Mom and Dad came out on Saturday and Sunday to help which I am thankful for. Mom and I made blueberry bread, banana nut bread, chocolate chip cookies, snickerdoodles, chocolate-covered shortbread logs, peanut blossoms, chocolate-covered oreos and chocolate-covered pretzel sticks. Plus, Mom made some pizzelle for me to include in our cookie trays. Yummy! The apartment smelled great!
Jeremy will be starting some physical therapy soon. His ankle is looking good but is obviously weak so hopefully therapy will get him going full speed soon. Dr. Broudy said that whenever he feels comfortable he can start walking around in sneakers. When that starts, he will then be able to drive again. Yay!!! Everything keeps looking up for him!
Me, on the other hand... not so much. We had a piggy-back appointment with Broudy yesterday-
Left ankle - arthritis - treament: Naproxen
Right foot - not sure - treatment: Naproxen
Left elbow - mild tennis elbow - treament: Naproxen
Right elbow - tennis elbow - treatment: Naproxen and brace
Right hand thumb - not sure - treatment: Naproxen and a brace during the night
Right wrist and hand - maybe carpal tunnel - treatment: ENG / nerve conductor test next week, Naproxen, and probably braces during the night if the tests come back as carpal tunnel
